To get it to work on Emulator just play in a previously saved 1P mode file. To get it to work on a real N64 console with Action ReplayTM you must use this code with 80207EA8 0001 and play in 1P mode with the code on. Go to any trophy race and start it, then quit and you'll be at the course that you had chosen. There is no music on the Beta courses. Some courses aren't actually "Beta" but they aren't normally playable (from the games cutscenes).

Emulator Only Digit 41 - Freezes on N64 [on Emu: starts you in the Central area (with an extra 8 balloons which is odd) In the lobby T.T options are altered Central Area is where lobby warps you too... Restart challenge takes you to the lobby...exiting back to the file select screen you'll see that your number of ballons has increased largely. if you had chosen file 3, files 1 & 2 will have been affected too. gives 50 balloons to file 2 and 3 and 96 ballons to file 1.

8 | Bosses function as a new vehicle. They could of coded them as characters, but they would still have to code in a new vehicle for them to use as they don't function as a car, plane or hovercraft. Take the Dragon for example, he can run and fly, different physics when he does the two. They would have to code in a Car/Plane combo for him to work properly. So just making them a vehicle instead of a Vehicle/Player combo saves them space. As for the values higher than 8, make a "joker", it freezes because it doesn't know what to select when the "Choose your vehicle" menu comes up. I activated the codes after that menu came up and it works fine. |
9 | There are a few cons to this code. Some glitches exists here and there but nothing much to be worried about. However, this code doesn't work in Adventure Mode.This wasn't tested on all levels. I'll try to refine these later. Tested at Treasure Caves. I was Diddy, player 2 was Tricky. |

This code also doesn't work in trophy races. This code can be used to use vehicles in levels you couldn't before. For example you can play Icicle Pyramid with the plane.
