1	You must use this code on a saved game, because the intro to the first level will mess up the game. Now select the saved game, and hold down the Cheat Device button until the level loads. Some of the boss stages will not let you fight the boss unless you re-enter the area. 2	Find the place you want to start at, then look up the codes in the memory editor. If you want to use them as a starting point modifier, make the codes Cheat Device button activated (89). Also, the first code is the x co-ordinate, the second is the y co-ordinate, and the third code is the z co-ordinate.
3	? can equal 1,2,3 or 4 for the knife, potion, cross, or axe respectively.
4	You will not see the hard level status until you restart that saved game file. Note: special item #1 is not required from previously finished saved game.
5	IMPORTANT: Some codes for this game that alter the item list state that you can't use them, but you actually can. For example, you can't use the Purifying until you need to be Purified. Also keep in mind that items with the same basecode can be put together (81389C5E ????). -GSC Staff

7	These `Switch From...' codes let you switch characters on a saved game! For example, say you're Schneider and you want to be Carrie in the middle of your game save it and put this Cheat Device code in and when you start your saved game back up you'll be Carrie instead of Schneider. This is pretty neat if you save it at Dracula and want to see their endings!
8	With this code, you need to press and hold the 'L' button to rise up in the air, and then let go when you are at your desired height to fall.
9	This code is not permanent. If you turn on the game without the code on, you'll have the original costume again.

12	You need a Cheat Device v3.0 or higher to use this code. Some parts of the game are unpassable.
13	Press and hold the Cheat Device button, then move in a direction.
14	Press L and jump. You should be close to the items first. Press R to go back to normal.
15	Press R to freeze the game, and L to unfreeze it.
16	Press R to make it midnight, L to make it noon.

20	This code doesn't modify the difficulty level (easy, normal) but modifies enemy difficulty and infinite money on/off. So you could have infinite money and easy enemies while playing normal or hard. 01 - Normal 10 - Easy ED - Hard FF - Easy/Expert
21	This code also removes some vampires. Also don't use it until after you pass the villa, otherwise it makes the game stick with the vampire cut scenes. To remove the nitro from your item list, save your game and then put in 81389C5C 0000.
