2When you hold the L button, there is a new camera view. Also when held down, mario can't punch, jump, or enter doors. When mario is on a koopa shell and you hold the L button, mario goes really fast on the shell and when you hit a wall the shell doesn't dissappear!

Set it to 3 when paused and hit A. The game acts like you're paused but you can still move!

4Defaults to FFFF when paused normally. Setting it to any value when unpaused activates a clean pause (03) for x time (unknown units)!
5IMPORTANT! If this really is a screen resolution code, don't try to use a higher-than-normal resolution on a normal TV! They can't handle it and could be severely damaged!
6If you look around 80246134, it appears to be ASM related to the debug codes.
Also, here's some wierd stuff you can do with the Pause Modifier.
-Set it to 04 and activate the Clone Mario code to bring up the Star Select in a course!
-Do the same as above, but also activate the code 8133B250 ???? to warp to an area of your choice! Simply use the values listed next to the areas from the Stage Select code (converted to hex), or use one of the following:
FFFF Ending
FFFE Start Game
FFFD Game Over
7This just jams open the door with the big star on it in the first room in the castle.
8I have only tested the in the first room in the Castle you'll have to test it in other rooms.
9Unlike the "No Surroundings" code, this code eliminates practically all the graphical elements, including the "TM" and copyright statement, the background of the intro screen, and most of the Select File screen. This code was made and tested with GS 3.30.
10This is most effective outside the castle. It might make things a little hard to play inside the castle and in levels. This code was made and tested with GS 3.30.
11I think this code messes up the order of polygons in the Z-buffer. The value 2222 causes polygons to overlap, producing dithered pixels that look a little bit like Mario's invisi-cap. Changing it even by one will change the effect to one where whole polygons flicker, and changing it too much will eliminate the effect. This code originally had an "E" as the first digit, which may crash the system if there is no Expansion Pak installed (tested with GS 3.30).
12Mario utters voices (mostly slipping and falling voices) that he normally wouldn't make for what he's doing in the game. The pitch of these voices varies quite a bit; sometimes Mario sounds like a girl. Also, if Mario walks continuously for long enough in a level, he will say "It's me, Mario!" You will have a very difficult time trying to sink into water with a Metal Cap, and while you are swimming without one, you will have less-than normal buoyancy. However, you will be warped to the surface of the water after a few seconds of swimming. This code was made and tested using GS 3.30.
13Default is 0x4080, 0x3F80 is something like the moon
14This code may only work 4 times overall. Also, if a door is moved, going in it will usually bring you to the next area. Trees also are moved too. Any similar inanimate objects are replaced. Not tested in levels yet.
