3	Enter a 2P vs. Press the Action Replay^TM button just before Lakitu's lights. Quit and enter time trials. Or enter a 2P GP and repeat the process.
4	On a 1P GP, the game will be set out like you're in a 2P GP. A) Two Luigis can race on any race. B) Gain 60 race points if both players are Luigi and they get 1st and second on every race (in any order). C) Also gives a vertical split screen on all 2P modes.
5	Drive slowly along the right hane edge of the hole in the track and fall in half way. If done right, Lakitu will place you just after the start line.

10	This allows for your regular battle stages.
11	Instead of starting a VS Match start a battle instead (this way the players load with the balloons). Now exit and go to course change, press the desired circuit-activator button and choose your stage. Each character gets three balloons like normal. This method is the most easy and convenient way possible and it rules! The only draw back is your character may sometimes lose a balloon at the beginning due to the start placements.
