It seems as though NBC, CBS, and ABC are purposely trying to piss me off. The regularly scheduled programming, as it's called, is hardly on anymore! Everytime I turn around they're either putting special shit on or airing repeats of everything cause of what another channel is doing. I mean look at this. There are millions of people that tune in everyday to watch the soaps on NBC, CBS, and ABC. How does CBS reward those viewers that tune in 5 days a week to watch Guiding Light, As The World Turns, etc? They screw us over every chance they get. They air every dumbass sports thing they can: Tennis, Basketball, Golf, etc. It's not ESPN for christ sake, it's CBS!! It's bad enough NBC/CBS/ABC show sports crap all day on the weekends, but doing it during the week is just plain bull. If people wanna watch sports, THAT'S WHAT ESPN IS FOR! All the great primetime dramas are getting screwed over more than ever. For 3 weeks, NBC showed nothing but the olympics all night and the other 2 channels showed nothing but repeats. Crossing Jordan has only aired HALF the number of new episodes it should've this season. Oh, let's see.... one week they showed Titanic on Monday night; another they showed It's A Wonderful Life or some crap; then they finally show an episode of Crossing Jordan; then it's olympics for 3 weeks straight; then an episode of Crossing Jordan; then uh oh (!) CBS is starting the "Amazing Race" again on Monday night so NBC gotta do somethin different too, they put some SNL crap on in place of Crossing Jordan. Are we seeing a pattern yet??? WTF!? Hell, it's like Crossing Jordan is only on 1/3 of the time if even that! It was the same way with that really cool P.I. drama on CBS a while back starring Danny Aiello (Dellaventura). Look at C.S.I. It wasn't on Thursday night on CBS cause of basketball. Oh, how bout that hot new show, First Monday, on Friday Nights? Nope, not this week, CAUSE OF BASKETBALL! So why am I venting about it today of all days? Simple. Last week on The District (Saturdays at 10pm on CBS), The chief's daughter got framed for murder by that russian gangster, Putin, and I can't wait to see what happens next. So what's the problem? Well, CBS showed a fuckin repeat tonight cause of that basketball shit they've had on for the past 3 days! "Regularly scheduled" doesn't mean jack at this point. I don't know if I even wanna bother watching those damn tv stations anymore. I should just stick to WWF and the 500 movies I own. | |
